Brian also founded the Industrial Scaffolding Committee alongside five other major companies to provide training for industrial scaffold builders. To date, the program has graduated over 1,000 students into the workforce without incident. Prior to his current role, Mr. Wedemeyer was the Director for HSE Compliance, Brock Services, where he oversaw the health, safety, and environmental performance of 15,000+ employees and over 290 domestic job sites.
Brian was then selected to build and run the safety department of a new specialty services company in the downstream petrochemical industry. Partner Industrial began operations in 2017 and has become one of the fastest growing companies in North America with over 1,500 employees after a year of operations. Partner employs a risk control system modeled closely after military aviation best practices to develop greater performance in high risk, construction activities. The system has gained popularity among the operational team for its simplicity, ease, and effectiveness at pre-empting human error. Brian resides in Houston and enjoys fishing, windsurfing, and mountain biking.
